JDE Technical

A large hurdle for many companies to overcome when performing an implementation is to get their users trained properly in a way that is both timely and convenient.  Unfortunately, having to rely on certified vendor training is both inconvenient due to class availability and also extremely expensive.  Fortunately, however, with R S Infocon's vast JD Edwards experience we can cut your training costs down dramatically while still providing high quality training that your staff can benefit from immediately.  That's why we offer both functional and technical JD Edwards training courses covering a vast range of available modules in JD Edwards.  Our training can also be customized to fit your specific needs.

All R S InfoCon training will consist of classroom explanations via Microsoft PowerPoint and handouts of presentation for individuals, reference material and on hand exercises using JD Edwards demo data or clients converted system data.

Objective

This course will give the student a basic understanding of the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne architecture and how each piece interacts with one another. Configurable Network Computing (CNC) topics will be covered such as the creation of path codes, environments and data source setup.

An in depth overview of day to day system administration tasks will follow with managing user ids and roles, which includes the setting up of and assigning of roles to users and a working with Security Workbench. Other various system administration tasks will be covered such as batch processing management and batch scheduling, managing Object Management Workbench (OMW) and the packaging and deploying of modification to programs.

Finally and overview of each primary server type that makes up the EnterpriseOne architecture will be covered along with basic routine administration tasks that should be performed for each and monitoring and managing EnterpriseOne servers using Server Manager.

As an optional and additional course topic we also provide EnterpriseOne Design Tools training for those clients seeking to expand the roles of their in house developers.  We cover all the basics that are necessary for clients to carry out their most common application design changes and needs using their own internal resources.
